DESCRIPTION:A queer-focused monthly poetry slam where 10 poets will compete
  for $100 cash prize. \nPOET SIGN UPS: 7pm first come\, first serve. \nAUG
 UST-NOVEMBER: Grand Slam Qualifiers. The grand slam qualifier series will 
 run August-November\, and the top 2 poets from each month will compete on 
 December 1st for $500 and the Grand Slam Championship Title.\nPoetry Slams
  are held at Town Hall Collaborative where a full menu of cocktails/mockta
 ils are available throughout the event. \nA portion of each month’s proc
 eeds go towards a community chosen charity.\nFeature poets are flown in fr
