Foreside Funk is an eleven-piece New England funk and soul band built around a powerful six-piece horn section, tight rhythms, and strong vocals. One of New England's most respected soul and funk singers, Kenya has shared stages with artists including The Roots, Dr. John, Fred Wesley, Lettuce, Jon Fishman, Nigel Hall, Shemekia Copeland, and Rustic Overtones. The band has created new horn arrangements for songs from Kenya's repertoire, combining her powerful voice with Foreside Funk's horn-driven sound.
