The Lavender Mic Poetry Slam

A queer-focused monthly poetry slam where 10 poets will compete for $100 cash prize. POET SIGN UPS: 7pm first come, first serve. AUGUST-NOVEMBER: Grand Slam Qualifiers. The grand slam qualifier series will run August-November, and the top 2 poets from each month will compete on December 1st for $500 and the Grand Slam Championship Title. Poetry Slams are held at Town Hall Collaborative where a full menu of cocktails/mocktails are available throughout the event. A portion of each month’s proceeds go towards a community chosen charity. Feature poets are flown in from across the country to give performances during intermissions.
