How it works
- Join when it launches. On September 1, open NearbyGrid, tap the gift button on the map, review the rules, and accept the Affiliate Program terms.
- Share your link or code. Create an affiliate link for any group you are in and share it, or give out your affiliate code.
- Earn as they subscribe. You get 300 points for each full month a member you referred keeps a paid Plus or Unlimited subscription.
- Redeem. Redeem for a $25 gift card at 2,500 points, or $100 cash at 10,000 points. Redemption is not available yet.
How referrals get you credit.
Your affiliate link carries the referral when someone signs up through it, on the web, iPhone, or Android. If they sign up without your link, they can enter your code during signup as a backup. Either way the referral must be attributed at signup; it cannot be added afterward. Only signups on or after September 1, 2026 count toward points.

Who can join?
Any NearbyGrid member who is 18 or older and lives in the United States. Being an affiliate does not make you a partner of NearbyGrid.
How many points do I earn?
500 points one time when you join, then 300 points for every full month a member you referred keeps a paid Plus or Unlimited subscription. Point values are set by NearbyGrid and can change at any time.
What can I redeem points for, gift cards or cash?
Gift cards start at 2,500 points ($25). Cash starts at 10,000 points ($100). Redemption is not available yet; details will be announced.
Does my referral need to use my link or code at sign up?

Can the point values change?
Yes. The points per month, the welcome bonus, and redemption values can change at any time, including for existing and past referrals, for example if plan prices or app store fees change. Points you have already redeemed are not affected.
What happens to my points if I get banned?
If your NearbyGrid account is banned or your enrollment is terminated for breaking the rules, you forfeit all unredeemed points and any pending awards, and your links and code stop earning.

NearbyGrid Points are promotional loyalty units with no cash value except through the official redemption program. The program begins September 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM Eastern; signups before that date are not credited.
